Well, those scans look pretty "flat", and I think this is intentional so that no part of the scan ends up being underexposed or overexposed, and you get as much information from the film as possible. Somehow they end up with a green tint, but it's not a problem and I wouldn't consider it an artifact because you can remove it in one step in Photoshop simply by setting the black point to the outside of the image frame.
But... why the green tint for the 2005 scans? ...Was it green tech (green as in "immature") or some unwanted scanner defect?
